Rose Gimlet

(Yes, this would have looked better in a coupe cocktail glass)

Prep time: 5 minutes
Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin

  • 1.5 oz rose syrup

  • .5 oz lime juice (about half a lime)

Add ice to a cocktail shaker or mason jar. Add gin, rose syrup, and lime juice, cover, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds, until it gets too cold to hold. Strain into a cocktail glass.

To make a garnish, stack 4-5 large rose petals and roll them into a tube. Hold them in place with a cocktail pick and add to the glass.
