Winter Vegetables CSA

$200.00

**Back for a second year in a row!**

Enjoy fresh greens and vegetables throughout the winter! Thanks to our mild climate, we’re able to offer fresh produce year-round. For the 2026-2027 winter season, we’re growing: arugula, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, celery, fennel, kale, collard greens, delicata squash, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, miner’s lettuce, peas, radicchio, radishes, parsley, scallions, sorrento raab, spinach, and Swiss chard.

We’re also shifting towards Asian vegetables in 2027 and are trialing these cool season crops: bok choy, chijimisai, chrsyanthemum greens, daikon, gai lan, komatsuna, mitsuba, mizuna, napa cabbage, and tatsoi.

Fun fact: many vegetables become even sweeter in the winter, especially after the first frost. No bitter greens here!

This is a once-per-month CSA from November through April, with a skip month in January, since not much is growing on the farm. Produce bags are available on the first Friday of each month, 3pm-7pm, at our micro farm stand in North Tacoma (exact address provided at checkout). These dates include:

  • November 6

  • December 4

  • February 5

  • March 5

  • April 2

We really love introducing customers to new ingredients and do everything we can to make good eating accessible and enjoyable. With each produce bag, you’ll receive tips for storage, prep, cooking, and enjoying each item. (Looking for recipes? Check out our monthly winter meal kit CSA, available on the third Friday of each month).

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Happy eating!
