All the produce needed to create a vegetarian main dish for 4. Typically this includes a base of whole grains or legumes, fresh greens, seasonal vegetables, and a flourish of herbs and edible flowers.
We’ll often provide more produce than you need (e.g., you’ll get a whole bulb of garlic even if the recipe only calls for a few cloves).

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a model where customers receive fresh, local produce directly from farmers. Customers pay for a "share" of the harvest and, since payment is received in advance of the growing season, this helps farmers with crop planning in the winter.
-
This winter season, we’re growing: arugula, beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, celery, fennel, kale, collard greens, delicata squash, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, miner’s lettuce, peas, radicchio, radishes, parsley, scallions, sorrento raab, spinach, and Swiss chard.
We’re also shifting towards Asian vegetables in 2027 and are trialing these cool season crops: bok choy, chijimisai, chrsyanthemum greens, daikon, gai lan, komatsuna, mitsuba, mizuna, napa cabbage, and tatsoi.
We also purchase dried grains and legumes (wheat berries, rye berries, Beluga lentils, yellow lentils, pearled barley, etc) from Eastern Washington and fresh fruit from a historic orchard in Gig Harbor.
-
Since these are meal kits, the produce and ingredients are intended to work together in a cohesive super-seasonal recipe, so no substitutions.
